Installation of Ballast Water Treatment System

We successfully installed Ballast Water Treatment Systems on board several vessels. The installation process involved work on deck and in ballast tanks while the installation in the engine room was completed during the vessel's voyage.
The installation team consisted of 40 service personnel, including welders, pipe specialists, and electricians. Of these, four personnel continued with the vessels to complete the installation in the engine room.
The total installation time was 10 days alongside, followed by one month of work during the normal voyage.

Complete Change of Water Tubes in the Boiler

The complete replacement of water tubes in the boiler was carried out with the assistance of Global Boiler from Denmark. Six service engineers worked around the clock to complete the job in just one week.
All new pipes were fabricated by Global Boiler and shipped to the vessel from Dubai. We were able to perform this job concurrently with the installation of the Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS).

Change of Inert Gas Combustion Chamber

The replacement of the Inert Gas Combustion Chamber was completed in just 2.5 days, despite the challenge of needing to cut access in the deck to remove the old chamber and install the new one.
Although the new chamber was not a stock item from the manufacturer and took some time to arrive, all necessary materials were on board, allowing us to complete the job efficiently.

Repair / Overhaul of Mooring Winch

The repair and overhaul of the mooring winch involved rebuilding the shaft at the bearing locations, which delayed the job by two days. As a result, the total repair time was one week. New bushes needed to be fabricated, which was carried out by the repair facility.
